Choosing Quality Child Care Is an Important and Often Overwhelming Decision.

Parents & Guardians Constantly Ask Themselves...

  • When should I enroll my child?

  • How do I get on a waiting list?

  • Will the curriculum be suitable for my child?

  • Will I feel safe leaving my child in this facility?

  • Will the daycare meet my child's special needs or dietary requirements?

 ... among other things!

Booking a tour of the daycare before enrolling is one way to get all the answers you need while also ensuring you are making the best choice for your child.

Overall, a tour of a daycare is an important step in the process of choosing the right childcare provider. It gives you the opportunity to see and experience the daycare for yourself and make an informed decision about whether it is the right fit for your family.

Gold Circle Early Childhood Daycare Centre is a licensed childcare centre serving children aged 18 months to 10 years old. We are located in Westway Junior Public School and work collaboratively with the school and community partners to provide childcare services.

We operate out of five rooms within the school, and we provide Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, Primary School age, and School-age programs.

Established in 1985, Gold Circle Early Childhood Daycare Centre has been a leading provider of early childhood education in Toronto for over 30 years.

We believe that "it takes a village to raise a child". Therefore, our philosophy reflects love, diversity, inclusion, and the importance of a positive and healthy community.

  • How do I enroll my child?
Admissions Process To help parents in making the right decision about their child's day care, Gold Circle Daycare Centre conducts tours at the centre. Tours can be booked with the centre's supervisor for any time during the centre's business hours to fit parents' schedule and the supervisor's availability. Should the Supervisor be unavailable, a designate will conduct the tour, which can last up to 30 minutes. During the Tour, topics such as feeding, dressing, and sleep routines are discussed, so that the centre is aware of how these routines are handled at home, and how they may be continued, or modified, in the daycare setting. The Supervisor will review the policies of the centre and answer any questions that the parent or guardian may have. The transition to the centre may be more pleasant if arrangements can be made for the child to visit the centre prior to their starting date. Admission is based on a first come, first serve basis at the discretion of the Supervisor. When parents decide to enroll their child or children into the program, they will receive a Parent Handbook with the centre’s policies and the necessary forms to be filled out and returned to the centre prior to the start date. A Parent Contract and Code of Conduct will need to be signed and returned prior to the child’s admission. Once a spot at the centre has been offered, the registration fee and deposit is due ASAP in order to hold the spot until the start date. 1. Parents requiring fee subsidy will need to contact Toronto Children Services. 2. Make an appointment with the Supervisor to arrange a tour. 3. Pay Registration fee and receive Registration form from the Supervisor. Bring in registration forms and pay deposit fee - payable via email money transfer or in person. Upon receiving payment and all documentation, your spot will be secured.

The foundation of our play-based program is designed to meet the individual potential of each child through their natural curiosity and interests.
